Our Mission
Boundless Events exists to create and nurture a diverse, inclusive, and safe community where people are free to express love, intimacy, and connection through kink-focused activities.
Our Vision
Our vision is to offer education and events that foster personal growth and interpersonal connection for our community, and to collaborate with other organizations that share our values.
Our Values
Boundless Events strives to embody integrity, service, education, inclusion, diversity, and consent, and to exhibit these values in everything that we do.
What We Do
Education
We organize educational classes, discussion groups, and skill-sharing opportunities on consent, human sexuality, relationship formats, communication, BDSM, and kink.
Community Building
We organize happy hours, munches, and other non-sexual gatherings where members of the BDSM, kink, and sex-positive communities can meet, build friendships, and strengthen community connections.
Retreat and Play Events
We organize an annual retreat and other consensual adult play events that offer opportunities for community connection and exploration of sexuality and kink.
Our History
Boundless Events was founded in 2015 by Daddy James to serve the broader Northern California kink community through an annual camping retreat. The organization expanded to include community gatherings and launched virtual educational classes in July 2020, extending opportunities for learning and connection.

Consent and Community Standards
Boundless Events is a consent-focused organization in everything we do. We are committed to consent, inclusion, and the safety of every participant, and we expect everyone in our community to uphold the policies summarized below.
Code of Conduct
We strive to create a space for community and events that is safe and inclusive, and that allows people to be themselves and explore their own sexuality and kink. Every member of our community is expected to follow three principles:
- Take responsibility for yourself. Plan for your needs and your self-care, come prepared, ask for help when you need it, and never become too intoxicated to behave responsibly toward the community or to care for yourself.
- Take responsibility for your behavior toward others. Treat everyone with kindness and consideration; promote anti-racism, anti-sexism, and gender equality; consider social power dynamics; and follow our negotiation guidelines and consent policies in all social, BDSM, and sexual activities.
- Take responsibility for the venue. We are guests in the spaces where we gather, and we treat our hosts and venues with regard.
Anyone who sees something that doesn't seem right is encouraged and empowered to speak up or report it to the organizers or event volunteers. Organizers may remove anyone who is unable to follow these agreements.
Consent Policy
Kink, including BDSM and consensual power exchange, rests on the ethical principle that everything we do together is done by informed agreement among all of the participants. Our Consent Policy, adapted from the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom's Consent Counts statement, holds that consent is:
- Freely given, voluntarily and without pressure, threats, manipulation, fraud, coercion, or deceit, by someone in a clear-headed state of mind and not impaired by intoxication.
- Revocable by anyone, for anything, at any time.
- Informed, with everyone involved having the information they need about an activity and its risks.
- Enthusiastically given: affirmative consent is the presence of a yes, not the absence of a no, and is given on an opt-in basis.
- Given within specific limits, and never assumed for anything that has not been openly negotiated and agreed to by everyone involved.
- Communication: there must always be a mutually understood means of communication between everyone involved.
Privacy and Photography
We maintain a strong culture of privacy. Aside from a designated staff photographer who photographs only those who ask, photography and video recording by attendees is not permitted at our events, and no one may post a photo without the consent of everyone in it.
Feedback and Incident Response
Our Conduct Committee responds to concerns about the conduct of community members, guided by the values of safety, accountability, restorative healing, privacy, and transparency. Anyone who was affected by, or who witnessed, unsafe or harmful behavior may report it at any time to conduct@boundlessevents.org, or during an event to any organizer or Conduct Committee member on duty.
- Every report is documented, and the Committee speaks with the reporter, witnesses, and the person the report is about before recommending any action.
- Outcomes range from a conversation or an official warning, to limits on volunteering, to a ban from events.
- Reporters' identities are never revealed without their explicit consent, and no one faces retaliation for reporting, or not reporting, a concern in good faith.
